In this strange time of a pandemic to expand oil drilling especially in Alaska’s Wildlife  Refuge. Known as the wildest place in America this is not a place to start any oil drilling in this pristine region of our country. Maybe the low price for oil make this bad timing. But the selling of leases not to be undone in the future can start in 2020. This does and will continue the use of fossil fuel during the calls for climate change. If you hate this and want to save wildernesses,  please  VOTE.

I chose a folk ballad sung by Johhny Horton. He was a Country singer who was known for his Folk Ballads. The  movie starring John Wayne with the same title made this song a #4 in 1960. I chose the original song written by Johnny and Tillmans Franks that was re recorded for the movie soundtrack lp. What a loss when we lost this wonderful singer/writer to a car crash in 1960.
